Brussels has a temperate climate, characterised by warm summers and mild winters. Rain may be expected at any time of the year and snow may fall occasionaly during the winter. Summer temperatures range from 18 to 27 degrees Celsius (65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) and four to seven degrees Celsius (40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit) in winter.
